Home Dialysis

Medicare at Home is designed for people who can’t make it to the doctor awfully often because they’re homebound. It covers a wide range of home health services, including your preliminary care physician’s visits to your hospital. That means your regular doctor (usually a primary care physician, also known as a PCP) must certify that you have difficulty leaving home. Medicare at Home is especially beneficial for immobile patients who have a challenging time leaving the house several proliferations a week to go to therapy or a hospital for treatment.
Many of those services require you to leave your home for diagnosis or treatment, but what if it’s difficult or almost impossible to get anywhere? Or, what if your condition could worsen by leaving your home? This is where in-home care gets involved.
Medicare at Home services is covered by Adya Lifecare to provide a convenient and safe way for elderly people to get treated without having to leave the comfort of their homes. Adya Lifecare Medicare at Home services allows skilled workers and therapists to enter your home and provide the services essential to help you get better. The Adya Lifecare Medicare at Home plans are developed by a physician and delivered by skilled workers, including registered nurses, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists and social workers. Patients who choose to avail themselves of Home dialysis services can dialyze from the comfort of their homes, thereby giving them better command of their schedules liberation up more time for themselves and their adored ones.

Home Dialysis Treatment Options
Two types of dialysis take place at home:

  • Peritoneal dialysis

    Peritoneal dialysis is a therapy for renal failure. A soft plastic tube (catheter) is placed in your belly by surgery. A sterile purification fluid is put with of yours belly via this catheter. After the filtrate process is ended, the fluid leaves your body via the catheter. Sounds daunting? Don’t worry, Adya Life Care will take care of the whole process for you.

  • You can perform hemodialysis in a dialysis facility where a nurse or technician performs the required tasks during treatment. Hemodialysis in the centre usually takes place three times a week for three to four hours or more each session. In-center treatments are done at a pre-scheduled time.
    You can also do hemodialysis at home where you are the one doing your treatment. At home, you may be better able to fit your treatments into your daily schedule. Research shows that the more you know about your treatment and the more you do it on your own, the more likely you are to do it on dialysis

Yes, Adya life care can pay for care in your home. In fact, about 10% or 1 out of every 10 people enrolled in Medicare receives care in their home each year that is paid for by adya life care. The benefit is called “home health care” and it includes healthcare services at home for an illness, such as heart disease, or after an injury. Home health care does not cost as much as care in a hospital or a skilled nursing facility (SNF), is just as good, and it is easier for you when nurses and others come to your house.
Examples of home health care services paid for by Adya life care:
Having a nurse come to your home to make sure that your diabetes or heart condition or other disease is not getting worse, and that you can take care of yourself at home, including after a heart attack or stroke
Having a nurse help you and your family know what medicine you should take, when you should take the medicine and how much. The nurse will also help you and your family understand what medicines you should stop taking, and what are signs that tell you and your family that your medicines may not be working or are making you feel worse.
A physical therapist (PT) coming to your home to help you feel safe when you walk or go and down your stairs, go to the bathroom, take a shower or bath, get in and out of bed, or get dressed— in other words making sure you are safe when you do what you need to each day. Adya life care pays for home health care to help you get better and to do things for yourself again, safely.

Mobile Van Dialysis

Our dialysis centre conducts dialysis sessions on your doorstep. Our Medicare at Home brings quality health care services to your doorstep by looking at unprecedented repercussions on healthcare service delivery in rural and urban patients.
We have grown from strength to strength utilizing all service models. And gearing up to launch a mobile van to facilitate access dialysis to rural patients who are unable to travel to dialysis centers during emergencies or admitted to ICU, CCU, and Ventilator in the bedside of the different hospitals in different Valley.
As per patients and stakeholder feedback, we have designed to move patients home and provide dialysis inside our ambulance. This customized ambulance is equipped with our dialysis device, a reclining chair, and a water distribution system to meet all the requirements in terms of quality dialysis. Our teams are capable to provide dialysis within an hour lead by Nephrologist with Dialysis Nurses and Technicians.
